This project was designed by the community in which it sits, with the design team as a guide to help form consensus around program and space allocation. Schematic design plans and sketches aided in a land transfer by the Boston Department of Neighborhood Development to the governing nonprofit organization. The project incorporates opportunities for vegetable production, horticulture, wildlife habitat, and community gatherings while adhering to a strict budget.
