Heimarck & Foglia, LLC is an energetic, SOMWBA-certified landscape architecture and planning studio formed from the 2008 merger of two highly-respected firms: Highmark Land Design (established 2000) and Foglia Design Associates (established 1994). Our commitment to socially responsible design results in a collaborative process that integrates art, natural systems, and culture into the analysis, planning and construction of private and public landscapes. A central value of ecological sustainability guides the decisions of our core landscape architectural team and specialized consultants. We structure each project to mesh client needs with the unique physical resources of the site.

Heimarck & Foglia believes in an informative process between firm and client, where program research and design solutions are mutually responsive conversations. We feel we have a responsibility to increase the transparency of the design process through individual and community education. Our primary goal is to collaborate closely with our private and professional clients alike to understand where and how we live as well as to create poetry in our daily lives.
